12 Apostles Fun On Our Annual Charity Day!

Our last flight down to the 12 Apostles was awesome! Took off from Barwon Heads and climbed out tracking south over the ocean before a right turn to run down the coast. Bells Beach looked great with a bunch of surfers out waiting for their special wave. Tracked on past Anglesea on onto Aireys Inlet. The ocean was
pure magic. The high sun illuminated the white sand below, shadows of surfers on the seabed. We continued west past the historic Wye River General Store and onto Apollo Bay. The Great Ocean Road winding its way around the coastline. Around Cape Otway – king Island just visible just off behind to the left. Moonlight Head in front of us as we tracked on towards the 12 Apostles. Otway national park on out right. A gentle sea mist rising up from the surf. Then the 12 Apostles appeared – what a great sight, cruising coastal just off shore, slowing down to feast on the sight of a smooth ocean lapping at the feet of the limestone Stacks we call Apostles. A great day!
